We use personal information to provide you with services & products you explicitly requested for, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot concerns, help promote safe services, measure user interest in our services, inform you about new features and facilities, services, updates, customize your experience, detect & protect us against error, fraud, and other criminal activity, enforce our terms and conditions, etc.

Location

The application iReside collects location data. Explicit permission for this is sought when the App is activated by the user. This is part of employer and employee agreement, and this data is collected only when the employee is on official duty and not discreetly. The individual’s residential address location parameter is recorded as this is used to generate an e-notarised residential certificate for the individual. This app is used by the individual to generate a self-attested address proof, for which this App facilitates.

 

Use of Location Information

Only the residential location data is used, and no other location data is collected or stored. This information is not for any public use, but for the individual to ensure that fraudulent records are not generated by actors impersonating the individual by falsifying residential location(s). For incident reporting this is crucial evidence which indemnifies the user and aids in investigations
